how did the shellac dry?

I tried this recipe today but with half the amount, and it's the best clay I've ever had! I am gonna keep it in the fridge for now because I currently have no energy. I am still a little worried about the clay getting moldy, but hopefully it'll be fine. Thank you so much for this perfect recipe!

thanks, Very useful video I do have a question or two you said that polymer clay never dries, does that mean that after you bake it it is still movable and workable and soft? Can you make a sculpture that is permanent and lasting with polymer clay? Does polymer clay take painting well? Compared to air dry clay? I know that air dry clay is more durable if you add white glue & At least one source says to paint it with primer and then paint Is polymer clay as easy to paint? Do you need primer? I've always sculpted with kiln fired clay but I don't have a kiln and I have difficulty getting my things fired so I would like to try sculpting some things with one of these clays

This Fimo clay air dry once is microwaved or air dried does it to be porous like a cheap air dry clay or dows it tend to ruin with water or moisture?

Great tutorial for beginners, but just a tip for some other people who would like to start, you don’t have to do all of those steps and tools for building your sculpture. The thin outy bits will probably hold themselves as long as it’s a third of an inch and not huge, for her sculpture it’s right that she used a mesh, but if it’s less than an inch, in my experience, just make sure the are attached and smooth on both sides, you don’t need a mesh. Also, about 90 percent of sculpting will be just your hands. The tools are only for things your hands are too big to reach, like small hard to reach areas and poking or moving small things around. I have never used corn starch at all, and what you mostly need to worry about is if your sculpture can stand and won’t break in the oven and out it. In my experience I barely use loop tools and I like using ball styluses and needle tools for hard to reach areas, you can use whatever you like though, I’m in no way an expert and this is just my experience.
